The Flood Relief Concert on 25 January will see a host of entertainers generously donate their time to perform for a cause that has touched the nation and affected hundreds of families and communities.
Tod Johnston and legendary 80s pop outfit V Capri will reunite for one night only, alongside popular local talent such as Tod’s other band Peace Love, Magnificent 7, Australian Idol finalist Courtney Murphy and Murphy’s Lore and other musical friends.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Fund, as well as the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund which assists Western Australians in Carnarvon, Mid West and Gascoyne region.
Burswood’s Chief Executive Officer Barry Felstead said that Burswood embraced the opportunity to present the community concert event.
“Burswood is proud to work alongside Tod Johnston and a fantastic line up of local talent to raise money to help victims of both the Queensland and Western Australian floods. We were happy to donate our time, the venue and resources to this concert enabling the people of Perth a chance to join together to show support, whilst enjoying a great night out,” said Mr Felstead.
Standing tickets are $40.00 and seated tickets are $45.00, both are on sale through Ticketek from Wednesday, 19 January or at the door on the night. Ticketek have also donated their time and resources to the appeal.
