The Casino Cage provides a number of cashiering and financial services to customers.
Change Booth Cashiers
Located in the electronic gaming machine area, providing mainly for the exchange of coin.
Main Cage Cashiers
Centrally located on the main entrance side of the gaming floor, the Main Cage Cashiers provide chip-cashing, foreign currency exchange and cheque cashing facilities.
The Pearl Room Cage Cashiers
Provide services similar to those performed by Main Cage Cashiers, plus selected services for international visitors such as telegraphic transfers, safe deposit box facilities and fund deposits.
KEY SERVICES
Cheque Cashing
Available at the Main Cage and The Pearl Room Cage, the cashing of cheques (including bank drafts) for gaming purposes is available subject to prior approval.
Cheques must be presented on a bank-issued and personalised form. Government identification requirements (Austrac) must be met before cheque cashing can be considered. See Austrac requirements
Cashing of Overseas Currency and Travellers' Cheques
All major currencies as well as many non-major currencies may be exchanged at the Main Cage and The Pearl Room Cage, at competitive rates. Travellers' cheques (both overseas and Australian currency) may be cashed on production of suitable signed identification – for example, a current driver's licence or passport. The Casino is required by law to report all cash transactions amounting to AU$10,000 or more. See Austrac requirements
Automatic Telling Machines
ATMs are situated throughout the Complex, allowing access to Australian savings and cheque accounts, as well as most international and Australian credit cards. ATMs are not located within licensed gaming areas.
Customer Deposits
The Pearl Room Cage provides a number of Australian and overseas currency bank accounts for customers to deposit their playing funds prior to arrival at Burswood Entertainment Complex. Accounts held are as follows:
Australian dollar accounts in Australia, Singapore & Hong Kong.
US dollar accounts in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Singapore dollar accounts in Australia & Singapore.
Hong Kong dollar accounts in Australia & Hong Kong.
Macau Patacas in Macau
