Responsible Service of Alcohol
Burswood Entertainment Complex is committed to the responsible service of alcohol.

At Burswood Entertainment Complex, we would like all of our customers and staff to enjoy a safe and secure environment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To maintain this environment throughout the Complex, we are committed to the responsible service of alcohol and have a House Management Policy, Code of Conduct and Management Plan supporting our commitment.

As Western Australia's premier entertainment destination, we offer a variety of restaurants and bars for your enjoyment. The vast majority of our customers are very considerate of their environment and fellow customers. On occasions however, some customers may over-indulge and it may become necessary for staff to enforce policies in accordance with the Liquor Control Act 1988 (WA) and related legislation.

Our policies include the following key principles:

  • Burswood Entertainment Complex has the right to refuse entry to people who may be considered to be under the influence of alcohol and displaying signs of drunkenness.
  • The supply of alcohol on the premises to juveniles (under 18 years of age), or drunk customers, is not permitted.
  • The consumption of alcohol on the premises by juveniles, or drunk customers, is not permitted.
  • Burswood Entertainment Complex discourages practices that lead to excessive or rapid consumption of alcohol in all outlets.

As trained professionals, Burswood Entertainment Complex Security bar staff, security staff and Responsible Service of Alcohol Officers are entrusted to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for customers and staff at all times, and will take necessary action to enforce these policies.
